The Occupants

A set of eight etchings made to accompany The Court of Redonda. Like the paintings, these are a group of singular figures, none too handsome, none too refined; they are depictions of those that do not run the world.
 
They were made using ‘white ground’; a process of distressing the background in a wanton, rugged manner. A type of sturdy dignity. (SC)
